A tall, lean chestnut horse with a grey mane and white blaze. Safety goggles pushed up on his forehead, a crisp white shirt, burgundy vest, a clean coverall tied at the waist and a charging cable worn like a scarf.

EV news, torque and range talk, and reactions. He’s the farm’s loudest EV expert, although his crew does all the actual wrenching.

Personality

Loud, opinionated and evangelical about anything electric. Talks about kilowatt-hours the way others talk about their kids, in a fast, sermon-like cadence.

Backstory

Born “Chestnut” among the farm’s diesel trucks. One ride in a friend’s EV converted him, and he renamed himself on the spot.
